Ghostwriting +
As a long-ago Creative Director and marketer of children's books, I had the luxury of working with and promoting some of the most recognized kid authors in the biz: R.L. Stine, Ann M. Martin, Dav Pilkey, K.A. Applegate, J.K. Rowling, etc. It was THOSE authors and illustrators who encouraged me to embark on my own career as an author—and to be open to all kinds of work. Thanks to those mentors, my editors, my agent, and writer pals all over, I have learned the art of book-making from all angles, in a wide range of publishing formats.
Whether I am writing under my name, under my pseudonym, or for ghostwriting clients, I am open to writing just about anything! I have penned original fiction and nonfiction for magazines and helped create global publishing guides. I have written video games, digital education programs, web content, puzzles, jokes, and so much more. Although many of my books have been for kids, I am able to write for all ages, at all levels, in many different genres.
“Laura acted as development editor and muse, and provided excellent writing support. I recommend Laura highly to anyone who has a creative vision and wants to get it out into the world. I could not have done it without her.
